THE WISE CURRICULUM

Our curriculum is international, dual-language, and academically rigorous, while also being flexible enough to support each student’s unique interests. Students will gain mastery in the traditional academic areas of Math, Science, World Studies, and English & Spanish Language Arts, while also being thoroughly versed in the areas of Permaculture, Systems Thinking,
Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Engineering, Ecology, Holistic Health, General Life Skills, and much more.

Through the method of Project-Based Learning & Socio-Ecological Academics, students engage in long-term projects, consisting of a comprehensive blend of topics that synergistically work together to help students cultivate critical thinking, establish systemic connections, answer complex questions, address real-world problems, and pose pragmatic solutions.

Students demonstrate their knowledge and skills by creating a public presentation and/or product for a real audience, which is showcased throughout the year and presented formally during our Project Presentation Day. Throughout the process, students explore their interests and develop a variety of skills, such as goal-setting, time-management, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, systems thinking, metacognition, and introspection.
